Went up to Darlington and made a few passes last night. This was the 2nd time I've had the car to the track. Still working on launching the car as you can tell by the sixty foot.

nice times neal! getting too close to my times! i guess a trip on sept 5th is in order, this time with the trailer incase the trans/diff goes BOOM again. this time at 16psi, noliftshifting

Jeff up in the Upstate was knocking off some 1.5 60's in his ZO6, so it can be done for sure. Then again he also toasted a halfshaft and other stuff eventually lol. Car is badass man, rockin' mph's.

This is the second time we have taken the car to the track in the last month and the car has gotten faster each time. He will get it down pat soon im sure once he figures out the launching. Big learning curve with a high hp IRS 6 speed car. Hes getting it though, i just go for the snacks.

Seems the spot between blowing the tires off and bogging is a narrow one with the tall gearing. That spot seemed to be up around 5 grand lol. Maybe with the blowah you wont have to go as high but who knows.

The hard part is learning how to slip the clutch out of the hole; especially when you come from the F-body world where all you do is turn it up and DUMP IT!
