Took the fam to the mountains for the weekend. Snap'd this by chance. It was 35 and raining. Didnt waste any time. Ran into him at Pisgah, had drag week stickers on it sounded pretty damn good.

Heres one coming from the curve.

And if yall have kids. Defentintly check out the Great Smoky Mountain Railway. My 13month old son could have gave a shit less but my 5yr old daughter was beside herself with excitment.

this is one we knew about:
http://www.carolinaoutfitters.com/train-tours.htm
Plan is to take our Gkids up for Christmas this year.
it's expensive, but i think it is worth it.
we have tried & tried to get a group discount for the Youth Group to go on it, when we do our week long retreats in mountains and go white water rafting, but they refuse to make us ANY kind of deal
this one looks different:

John, they're both the same. Looks like carolina outfitters is just a middle guy. You can buy straight from gsmt.com. We plan on going back for the polar express one in december. We stayed in a cabin in Nantahala village right on the gorge. Pretty wicked. It was expensive. We paid right at 170 for the fam in an open air car because it was only 70degrees when we went. The polar express tickets are close to 300 for us 4. Pricey as hell but my daughters childhood memories are worth it.
And thanks mike.

The Polar Express rocks. We took my son 3 or 4 years ago and it was great. That area is beautiful.
