I know most of yall dont know me, but I'm planning on going off Edisto tomorrow if anybody wants to go. Went Monday and didn't catch a damn thing, but the sharks are definitely out. I'll bring beer and bait.

We saw two 3.5 ft ones feeding on the bank in the little creek our dock is on. They didn't want anything to do with me though. What were y'all using for bait?

Bonnet heads working the bank only eat shrimp or blue crab cut in half works best

spot tail and trout are thick atm. find any creek entrance. look for a decent contour on depth finder. use dead shrimp or cut mullet atm. live/artificial seems to not be hot this time year. caught 8 with a 1/8 jig head and dead shrimp pieces. workin it slowly off bottom in retrievals. off edisto if u look @ harbor island and the bridge. inbetween the 2 big sandbar shoals theres a 75 foot hole. the shrimp boots use this little channel. sharks be 6+ feet. last year had a 9 1/2 tiger and a 7ft hammer out of that hole. plenty of 4-6ft lemons also.

shark bait this time of year ideally would be menhayden or threadfin herring. locals call em greenies. this time of year there podded up big time. u can cast over them or sabiki them. ill be putting in @ sands on monday and tuesday workin St helena sound for trout/bass anyone wanna tag along ill put u on a few spots. live greenie under a balloon is serious bidness. plus with da greenies u open ur odds up to spanish/king mackeral and cobia if u fish the sound. greenies have scales. menhayden look identical but have 0 scales. greenies also have a threadfin off top fin runs down back. menhayden dont have this. so scales and fin decipher the 2 bait fish

I think we're heading to Sullivan's today, maybe will go out to Edisto again tomorrow if we dont have anything else going on. Had a lot of fun the other day out there.
