SVT Mustang Cobra Club rents Carolina Dragway for a half day. 50 dollars to get in and run all day long. There is a very limited amount of cars, so you get as many passes as you want.

Unless they changed the rules, they allow Chevy's. A 66 Chevelle won the bracket race when we were there in November 05'. "Lightweight" was there in his silver Camaro (Z28) that day as well. I think that is my Saturday off.

Might be able to make this one (although I need to find some taller stickies so I can run 1/4 mile).

I know that feeling Jason. I found me some 28" tires I might try out there and see if that helps.

You don't need any 28s You'll be far enough ahead by the 1000' mark you'll be able to let out

It would be nice not to let off at the end! Make a full quarter run. A friend of mine has some 28" m/t street radials to try.

Why don't we all meet up at the College Park Rest Area on I 26 around 7:00am and cruise up there together! It would be great to have a long line of Lightnings, Mustangs and Other vehicles cruising through all those nice little towns.

I think I'm gonna have to pass guys. With the entry fee, gas, etc.....I'm gonna have over $100 into the trip. And then with my luck.....it will be a day where they will boot me after one pass. Don't have the cash to risk it.
