Gonna drive the POS daily until it falls apart, then more than likely a Jetta TDI. I do want to pick up a toy pretty soon though, like a DSM or Fox-Body or something cheap and easy to tinker with in the garage.

It was actually a good friend of my wife's, and we were already going to be in Raleigh anyways. Regardless, it was a waste of time, money, and effort, I wasn't very happy about it lol

I'm well aware of what they go for, the majority of SRT-4's for sale are ragged out and not modded properly, fading paint, etc. Mine has over 10k in aftermarket parts, as well as new tires, fresh transmission, etc. Yes I am aware that doesn't necessarily add to the value of the car. KBB is $7500-$7900, and then factor in the recent maintenance, over 10k in parts, etc, I'm definitely not asking too much.

Already had a bunch of offers on the car but not quite what I'm looking for.

I bought my last SRT-4 for $8k and sold it for $9500, I'm also not in a rush to sell. Thanks though.

All the cars you see for 5500-6500 are ragged out stock cars with 150k miles, I have no idea where you're getting your info from. Mine has 54k original miles, good paint, clean title, spotless interior, and a LOT of tasteful mods. You're making yourself look bad, please stop.

I go through cars/bikes quite regularly...and yet I've had many that I was in no real hurry to sell that were "fo sail" for many many months until one day, out of nowhere, someone came and offered my asking or very close to it. That asking price would be quite high too. It was then that I'd sell it. The more desperate I became to sell, the lower I'd make the price. The key is patience and advertisement. It WILL sell! Just try not to get too desperate and lower the price too much.

Don't know if its what you want but, you mentioned CTS-V, on the Weapon Station car sales lot by McDonalds they have a 2006 silver CTS-V 6 speed for 19k. Doesn't state mileage on the sales sheet but it does have a phone number to call.
