There should be atleast two trailers there. I know in the past they guys have said if anyone should break they would drive there truck home and trailer who ever is broke. But Ill let them speak for themselves.

BTW is Lurch going to bring the White truck?

Also is there a meeting place and time or is everybody going to fend for themselves?

I am borrowing a trailer, but will help out any way possible. You're part of our group, man! :bigthumb: I've been wanting to see your car for a long time.

Oh yeah,

Ive never been to Darlington. What kind of tech inspection do they have? Is it strict or lax?

What would I need according to them if i run a 12.5? If Im not up to par I really dont want to waist the gas to find out I cant race.

It's pretty lax, but you do need a D.S. loop to run slicks.

well maybe you could get by with mounting the slicks after the tech inspection.

Do you think its worth the chance and possibly not being able to run after a long ride?

Get some drag radials. They will work just as well for you as slicks.

OK hold on I do have to take a shit anyways:hysterical:

With as low as my truck is anyways how could they check? Do they have an insect of some sort crawling under there and reporting back?

Maybe someone can store my slicks in the back of there truck?

I hate to hurt your feelings, but many race cars they see make your truck look like a 4x4.

Now if you stored my tires would i pass tech?

I drove to the tech area with my truck still on the trailer. They looked underneath for loop, after noticing slicks. That was the extent of the tech.

If you don't have slicks on at the time of tech you should be good to go.

I think we'll be running before and in between the bracket rounds. Mitch called and said you guys were going, so I figured I'd go too, and posted it up.

We're still working on the time. We want to make sure they will let us make some passes with it being a bracket race night. You need to pm me a contact phone number so I can let you know "what's a happenin".

don't worry about tech at Darlington- it's pretty easy- mount the slicks after you go through tech- no big deal- i doubt they will even look anyway.

Correction: Might be a good day to get dissapointed by the KC.

I am not impressed by the theory behind it nor its operation thus far. I hope you prove it not to be a waste of money.

That is correct I charged the a/c system today and the air coming out of the vents isnt as cold as it was but is still very comfortable. It also wasnt quite as hot as it is now the last time I used my a/c.

I'm guessing this KC thing is were the motor pulls air from the A/C system.
Not sure this is a good idea at the strip. They dont like it when you run your A/C at the track. It drips water on the track.

The major test will be at Darlington on Sat, but when we were charging the a/c system I did stick my finger in the res and the water was very cold.

Ill post some datalogs showing the IAT and IAT2 temps while idleing, on the road cruising and at the strip while the system is on and while it is off.

According to Lurch, the track is only going to prep the 1/8th mile for the bracket race.

The weather updates keep getting hotter. 102?

Cold Beer :cheers in a cool place might win out over the effort it takes to go racing, for me anyway. I still don't have the cooling box in either.

Guys, I'm not going. If I'm going to drive to a track like Darlington, I'm going to be trying to run a new best and run the 1/4 mile. The 1/4 is out and it's going to be too hot for me.
