They are having a carshow if some of you guy's want to hang out and eat. They have a truck class! Something different. 6-9PM. Ryans Steak House 17A.
Well I tried my 1st car show, thanks to Mike & Morey. I still have mixed emotions about my truck in a show. I just don't think its car show material, like Morey's Saleen, or the rare split window Vette that was there.
Anyways it was cool grabbing some Grub with everyone.

Thanks for coming out Mike. You would have came home with a trophy, if you would have stayed longer while the voteing was going on. Family comes first. I had a great time.

I don't know. I like seeing old muscle or 1 of 30 produced vehicles too but I think that your truck belongs there. You have put a lot of time, money and energy into your truck and it looks just as good as it is fast. I think it is cool to see "drag" cars and trucks at shows.

Which bagged truck? You have my attention. But have no fear. I will put some mad hours in on this next truck to get it ready for its first show may5-6. LOOK OUT. I will have the progress pics of it. Have some hard hours and sweat to put in it. (and maybe looking for another v8 swap or turbo setup. Whoknows yet on the motor stuff yet. Kinda not high on the priority list.
Anyways sorry for the thread hijack.

I wish I would have had a camera there. Mikes truck looked great in a about 15 min. with 4 people detailing. You need to bring yours out to some show's.

I just might do that, but I would like to wait until this pollen goes away. My prediction: I go away with first for show and Mike goes away with first for go! Cheers

It is alot of fun meeting different people and seeing some really nice cars. Most of them have truck classes. Not alot of trucks show up. Mike you seen what the competition is. Alway's see the same trucks! Maybe you guy's can change that. Good way to hang out with friends and eat good food!

What do you consider not alot 2,4,6,8,10?

There was 3 trucks there before Mike entered. I don't think I ever seen more than six trucks at any of the show's around here. Imagine first, second and 3rd place at most show's. Chances are good you will walk out with one!

Mike can you add a Calendar to your forum? If it is not very difficult and maybe an events section and we can post different things up to do. Things other than racing. Not to take the spot light off racing.

How long do you have? I hate the pollen.

Morey if I did that I'd be deviating from the whole concept of this site. "It's all about racing"
Nothing against car shows, but I'd hate to see some guys not come to the track because they went to a car show. How could a car show be more fun than racing your car down the track..
I don't mind car shows being promoted, but if it interferes with a track day I'm deleting the post.....I guess that would make me anti-smaf  No offence to Steve if you read this
BTW: I'm mostly joking :P
