I've got some big block parts laying around thats not doing me any good. Let me clarify this to begin with, these are all Mk6 stuff. It will interchange with Mk5 stuff, but it takes special gaskets for the heads to work on Mk4 blocks. I don't know if the cranks will work with Mk4 because of the one piece rear main seal, but I imagine that there is an adaptor much like whats available for small block cranks. I haven't checked on it, so I don't know for sure, so if someone on here knows for sure, feel free to chime in.

What I have is two sets of each, square port, high perf, cast iron Mk6 heads, complete, they will need to be gone thru before using them($400 a set). These are the late model version of the famous LS7 bbc heads, as I've been asked before, they probably won't work too good on your tow truck, but they are great for a drag/hot street car.

I have two complete sets of big bolt, heavy duty, factory high perf rods($200 a set). I don't know of any reason that they can't be used in any of the bbc's. Mk4-Mk6, they should work in any of them. Rods still have the factory standard bore pistons on them, who knows, you might be able to salvage a set of 8 standard bore pistons out of them.

I have two Mk 6 one piece seal type, forged steel cranks. They will need to be serviced before use. They appear to be premiium forgings. I couldn't tell you exactly what type, but they look far better than most factory forgings. They have "KC" in a circle laser etched in one of the flyweights. I'm asking $250 each

I also have the factory cast aluminum valve covers for the heads, I kow they will work on Mk5 heads, but I don't know on Mk4. It depends on the machined valve cover geasket surface, they should be fine, it may take an old style gasket versus the new style o-ring. ($50 a set).

If any one has any questions, feel free to call, pm, or email. If i keep this big block stuff around, I'm going to have to use it. My blue truck doesn't need any more weight in the front, and I have this urge to build a flatbottom drag boat. So help me save my sanity and my budget. I'm open to trades of other parts(small block chevy), boat stuff, gun stuff, or anything you think might peak my intrest. And, no Larry, this doesn't include Ford stuff that you took off of your lighting. Parts are in Goose Creek for pick up
