Here's my review of BCs:

I've had mine for about 2 years, 20k miles, and they are still functioning as they should. They are well-mannered for the street and can be tightened up for Autox.They are one of the better entry level C/Os for the money when you are just trying to experiment with spring rates (I'm running 350#/450# F/R). That's what gives you the "on rails" feeling when cornering...the spring rates.

The dampening isn't that adjustable or matched just like most other 1-way adjustable, sub-2K C/O..(you can't really fine tune them as the bound & rebound valving is adjusted together..just set them at full stiff, half-way or full soft really). Don't get discouraged by the lack of fine tuning in the dampening. The cheapest set of truly matched 1-way adjustable dampners you can buy are like Bilstein PSS9s for about 1.8k-2k$...but they don't come with the features like pillow ball mounts, camber plates and they offer very little ride height adjustability because you have to use the lower spring perch (using a helper spring). The BCs feature a full threaded body, so you don't have to pre-load any thing to change the ride height.

The main bodies are aluminum and light (I saved a good 10#s per corner easily). I've adjusted the height on mine probably 6-7 times and the threads/lock rings are still easy to adjust. Just spray a little brake cleaner on the threads, break the lock rings loose, put some gloves on and start hand-turning it.

What is not known by a lot of people is that BC manufactures a lot of the entry/mid-level C/Os for other companies and are just rebadged: Apexi, Tein, D2, Megan and probably a few I am forgetting. You are definitely getting your money's worth with this set-up as you are not "paying for a name". It's basically a solid 1,500$ system for 1K. Do I highly recommend them...fuggin-A.

Bottom line: They ain't no Penske/Moton/Ohlins/KWs featuring super-way adjustable valving, external reservoirs or He-man neck-crushing grip...but they don't exactly cost 3-5K either!
