I really need a 4R70W mustang automatic tranny. Preferrably one out of a 99+ GT. Im not looking to spend a fortune seeing as how I am already buying a Lentech manual valve body that isnt cheap. If I had a computer for the auto, I wouldnt need the MVB, but since I dont, thats my smartest route. Just let me know if anyone local has one
I would like the flywheel also if thats not asking too much. Possibly a stock converter too, but ill be stalling it so thats not a must.
Thanks

why would you buy a valve body before you get the trans? DuMb!

sorry, ill fix that simplify that post for the idiots who have no common sense.
I am going to purchase a manual valve body once I find a good tranny which is going to cost me $645 off the rip, so I am not looking to spend too much on a tranny.

looks like you are selling a stick and putting an auto
I have a 99 GT convertible with an automatic.
I might want it to be a 5 speed.
shoot me a PM with your email

Check with Gerald if this is possible, but can't an AOD valvebody go in it? I know that he builds AODs with 4R70 guts, so maybe the parts work in both directions. Just a thought as it would save you a ton of money.

He uses the guts out of the R470W for the AOD due to the wide ratio planets, and the parts like the sun shell are a little stronger. Also let me know if you need it, I have an auto computer out of a 2004 Mach 1. I might even have the tranny you need, but I need to check..:bigthumb:
