yup! we have been playing with it for a while now. I'm sure we can't unleash the potential your tuner has, but we hope to see what we can get out of it. :bigthumb:

slow04 informed me about it, after he read about it on yellow bullet. We have done some back to back dyno runs with C-16 vs Q-16, and back to back track runs. Picked up a little on the dyno, but lost a little at the track. I think I had it to rich. We are going to try again tomorrow. :cheers

it was 860 out the door for a q16 55 gallon drum.

if u run q16.. you need to look at c113... it is the equivalant of q16 minus the ability of rediculous comression ratio ability.

get me a list... like
1. 55 gallon q16
2. 5 gallon q16
3. 5 gallon vp imort.
ect ect ect.. you get the idea. and i will call tommorow.. and get a full price together.. or you can call me tom.. 843 602 8954 mike.. i have spotty cell service at the house so leave a voicemail or test me.

hear is the listing for

q16
Q16 will work well in any drag racing or circle track application -- naturally aspirated, nitrous or blowers. Q16 is highly oxygenated, requiring a 4-6% increase in fuel flow, which will make 3-5% more power than competitive 116 octane fuels. Q16's oxygenation will significantly expand the range of air/fuel ratio acceptability, so performance will be more consistent and won't vary as dramatically with altitude or density changes. For bracket racers, variations in ET from run to run will be substantially reduced. This added fuel flow also effectively increases its octane by 6-8 numbers above its standard ASTM octane rating.

* Color: Yellow
* Oxygenated: Yes
* Motor Octane 116
* Research Octane: 120+
* Specific Gravity: .716 at 60?? F

c113
Offering substantial power gains at a competitive price, VP113 is oxygenated to street gas levels with application in drag racing, circle track, road racing - virtually anything that moves. Formulated for naturally aspirated engines with CRs up to approximately 12:1-13:1. VP113 makes up to 2% more power than competitive 110-114 octane fuels, with gains of 3-4% in engine applications with poor or marginal fuel vaporization qualities. May require a tuning change of +1 to +2 jets for optimum performance.

* Color: Green
* Motor Octane 109
* Research Octane: 118
* R+M/2: 113
* Specific Gravity: .718 @ 60?? F
we were told if u run q as your race tune.. the c113 would be your alternative as far as not having to swtich your tune..
if you look allot of the same technology goes into the c113 ans the q16..

they also carry methonal.. m1 is the best methonal on the market.. hands down.. if u run a turbo/supercharge a methonal setup is a must.:)

if u chip in for a 55gallon of m1 its not bad i want to say like 250-350...

Diagree strongly and so do some of the fastest turbo cars in the world!! M1 is rough on the motor and hasn't proven to be any faster!

and $860 for Q16 is outrageous. I can get it for $680.00 all day long and less than that if I get it from Sheppard.

No offense!!

i was taling about pump gas cars. methonal does wonders for them.. as far as race cars no.. methonal with race gas is just overkill so i agree with that..

and no offense taken.. onthe price.. i can only go bye what i payed last tiem and i was told it went up big time.. i will call tom and get a price and post it.
trust me i hate paying that price.
