will shoot you a PM.
mostly looking for something driveable,
so the majority of the work is the swap, not the rebuild.
he has a 350 in parts now, ready to go to the machine shop.
was wondering if we could score a running engine for what the work & parts would cost.
whats a break even price for rebuild/vice buying a used motor?

Just get a used vortec motor and a 700 from a junkyard, some places even warranty. Rob should be able to help you with this.

what i was thinking
a good Vortec motor should run fairly hard too, out the box.
prolly throw and intake and carb on it to simplify things, be good to go.
