Yesturday morning I was driving on Rivers ave. Just normal driving. I was hauling a table to our Mustang club Hooter's show.
I pulled up to the Ashley Phosphate light. Then, I saw lots of white smoke....it was pouring from my pipes....now, the truck acts like it is running on 5 cylinders....

I don't have a clue what is wrong...but, hoping it need plugs...

Anyway....I would pay someone to change the plugs in my truck...but, catch is.....I am afraid to drive it, so, it would have to be done at my house in Hanahan....and, I really need it done today.....This is my DD...otherwise, I have to bring Ol' Yeller out of the garage.....that I don't want too do...

I would pay WELL...if anyone can do it today....If not, guess it has to go to some shop tomorrow...

Bad plugs will not cause white smoke. Have you checked your radiator fluid? The white smoke makes me think you have a blown head gasket.

I was going to say the same thing. Usually that much smoke is burning coolant. Check the oil and coolant to make sure that they didn't mix.

ALSO A THOUGHT TO CHECK THE INTERCOOLER TANK AND MAKE SURE THAT DIDNT SPRING A LEAK.

steve thats awful!

does the L push coolant out of the overflow tank. the mod motors, if they retain some kind of seal, will push coolant out of the exhaust, and burp it out of hte coolant overflow in some cases. I hope its something simple :(

First thing I checked was the oil. I was afraid I had water in the oil. It is good. Also, no loss of coolant. I almost think it is fuel and not coolant...but, can't really tell...

It has been running kind of rough when it is cold, but, runs fine after it warms up....until now.

Guess it is a trip to Bouchillions in the morning. Guess I will have to take a day off work. Got to find out what is going on with it...

The "L" lives again.........it was all electrical..........

Had a bad connection on the EMC...but, most serious problem...

When whoever did it...installed the Clifford alarm...they used the #5 injector ground wire to ground the alarm horn....This wire shorted out on the EGR tube....

With the injector shorted out the puter was just dumping raw gas into the motor, trying to get a signal from the injector....

Used a quarter on a tanl of gas in 6 miles, and most of that ran out the exhaust...

Also had to replace 1 O2 sensor. Guess it died a horrible death from raw gas flooding it...

The truck runs great again...

Thanks to JR and all the guys at Bouchillion Performance....
