Carolina Cup Pro Series (CCPS) is a regional automobile racing series based in the southeastern United States. The series is designed to promote fun, hassle free racing with a professional atmosphere. CCPS is a points-based, team series, with cash awards for top finishers in each race and a cumulative cash prize for the overall points winner at the end the season. CCPS races are all 45 minutes in length with a mandatory 2 minute pit-stop. Many teams opt to run one driver per race, however rules allow for a driver swap allowing more drivers to participate and gain valuable seat time.
Visit the CCPS website at: http://www.carolinacupproseries.com/

There currently are openings for Instructors for PDX Novice drivers at this event. If you have previous instructing experience and would like to be considered to instruct at this event, please contact joe@scsportscar.com with your prior instructional experience.

Corner and other specialty workers will also be needed for this event. Double occupancy hotel accommodations or a gas card for transportation costs will be provided to workers, as well as breakfast and lunch during days worked and a worker party/BBQ on Saturday night. If you are interested in working at this event, registration for volunteers can be found here: http://tinyurl.com/scrvolunteer20100227

Let me know if you decide to go Shaun. I might want to take the Little Piggy up there. Of course a brake job on LP runs about a 2k so I don't know if I can afford to go either....

Thanks for posting that over here, Joe.

I don't think I'll have the Mega-Rice in running order by that date.

It will be a fun time, though, and the SCR guys are great and helpful.

I'll let you know. That's sort of my issue as well. I will need to be ready to replace tires and brakes, before I can do this.

Will likely sit this event out. Need more time and money to get some much needed upgrades on the car first. Will likely go up and work F&C, though. I will know better, when the weekend gets closer.
