The last time I was at Dorchester they said that they would be closing to resurface some of the track. I believe they said late February or March to reopen.

There is a La Hacienda In goose creek we could meet up at some where between 2-3 pm. The track opens at 2 but if it is like last weekend they wont start racing untill about 4.

I'm pretty sure I'll be going. I may wait until it gets dark. Cooler air and.......maybe they won't notice my lack of roll bar. Got booted last time.

Jay,

I think since they are closing in March they may let you get away with it now.

I was hoping to get a 6 before Low Country closed, but after this past weekends disappointing results I don't see that happening before the end of March. :(

It really stinks that they are closing too. It is so nice to go right up the street to race. Dorchester isn't that far but midway is a pretty good drive. Especially to scramble for a way home.

Midway is a 40 min drive from Goose Creek. Dorchester 30 minutes and LowCountry 10 minutes. Orangeburge 1-1/4 Hrs. Darlington 2 Hrs. Carolina 2 Hrs. Note: That is not towing a car.

Yea but once lowcountry closes....alot of people are not going to want to drive that far anywhere.

So I guess Dorchester will see alot. Or people will sell race cars go shoot the developement that is closing lowcountry
It took us 1 hour to get to midway last time I went.

Looks like Darlington after March. Haven't had good luck at Dorchester.

I also think the developement had an affect on Lowcountry closing. I believe it had more to do with $$ for the land than the houses closing in around there. Just my $.02....

Chris I'll be there if I can. I'm always down for some grub. :D

Mike bring that camera of yours if you can come we'll put you in the lead of the convoy to take some vidoe of us riding out. Should be a decent video if we can get enough people. I think if the weather cooperates this weekend Im going to race. I wouldnt mind lining them up with you just curious how a second and a half looks when you get beat by a really fast truck while driving a fast truck.

I will be bringing my video camera as well. My wife can do some really neat stuff with video on the computer such as orchestrate with music and all of that really cool stuff with the writing. She is a Coast Guard Genius.

Count me out. The Army has kept me so busy lately that today is a father/son day at home. We have a model rocket project to launch today. I'll catch you guys another time (after the full exhaust is installed :D )
