Hey guys!

Well I ran into DolSVT00 on hwy 26 last weekend (best regards to his truck), had a good couple runs on the highway. I told my friend Matt (with the purple Camero) from North Charleston about the ecounter and he told me to join this forum, so I did.

Anyway, I drive a 1983 Datsun 280ZX Turbo with a couple changes here and there. The motor is an inline 6 2.8 liter SOHC. I'm running a T3/T4 hybrid SlowBoy Racing GT30. Also running MegaSquirt II 3.57 for an ECU. I tuned it myself at a buddy's Dynomite Dyno here in Columbia.

Anyone here in Columbia?

+1 on the 300ZXT! Not too much time really. Only about 2 years of research and planning, 8 months of building, and 4 months of tuning plus an extra motor tear down and rebuild.

Thats weird. Ive ran on 651 in Mexico, but I remember crossing over 26. Didnt look like the best place to run. :bigthumb:

Welcome aboard

Wow, I'm guessing you had a little issue with detonation. You should post some pics of the build.

I won't go into detail as why I broke those pistons. Lets just say, every one makes mistakes. I have a few pics of the motor, but none of the actuall build. I need to take an engine bay shot too.

Yeah, I need to re-tune my WOT before I run it. I swapped in a new fuel pump and I've had to cut a good 25% of fuel out of my WOT, and it's still running 10.9 AFR's. Hopefully I'll get that taken care of this weekend so I can run.
