I want to read up on the diesel performance craze. I don't think I'll keep my Lightning for a lot longer and want to start reading about the diesel trucks. I still need a truck, and if I keep on with mine the towing ability will be non-existent. Just lowering mine 2" in the rear made a difference in the towing.

King of the stock blocks? I think the "Whipple Killa" has that one covered. Plus, there aren't many stock blocks left. I can't afford to step up to the pump with the built trucks. I want another "old school" muscle car, anyway. The diesel would pull it well, too.
I found a couple of performance diesel websites.

You are a disappointment, disgrace, and traitor to the Lightning community. :poke: :joke:

There are more stock blocks then there is built blocks. To get a diesel to level your at would be very expensive. Probably as much as a built motor.

Sorry, Charlie. I don't want to HAVE TO buy a motor for the truck, and I can't leave the truck alone.
BTW, I have a brand new set of Kooks headers and matching high flow cat midpipes, if you want to buy them.

I don't care if the diesel is as fast as the L. You've heard me say that I want a old "fast car" again. Plus, Kenny's Chevy II will be done one day and we will be playing with that.
