Ok, the TDL rules are not set in stone, we are still learning as we go and i think we have been doing a great job at it so far this year. I thought i would open discussion on a suggestion i have in case such a situation arises.

On the subject of if a car is broken, and cant make a race or races.

Now i do think if a car is down for the season then you can have a sub car for the rest of the year. And you cant race the original car until the next year, even if you get it fixed before the season is over, you must finish out the season with the sub car.

What do you guys think?

i think the whole reason behind the TDL is to show you got the fastest automobile. i dont believe it was decided you could only have one car on the list right? i been thinking about bringing the old heavy chevy out to run for myself but scared that the piston rings may come apart and start smoking more and the trans may go out from all the power the 305 is making

Well I think I read in the rules that you could have more than 1 car on the list.

I think personally. If you had to add a second car. Start at the bottom. Have 2 different cars on the list and progress from there.

Rob, if you wanted to race 3 cars and you could with that trailer you have, all the power to you.

i'm against stopping any car from showing up that meets the rules.

Having more than one car under the same name seems kinda redundant to me. Would seem a better way to get more members on the board, the person that owns the car could have their wife, son, daughter, brother, dad out racing the second car.

I dont know, just thought id bring it up for discussion.

I would totally call out the RaceTegra with the Monster and the Mustang.

I believe the rules state you could have two vehicles on the list BUT they are two separate entries. Not start the season with one vehicle and switch to another partially through the season. The car that's broke just keeps falling. ie "blazer" and the second vehicle would need to start on the bottom of the list like all other new members added to the list.

What if I retired my truck from racing midway into the TDL and decided that my sub car is a BBF+huge turbo+huge shot+tube chassis kinda like wes's car lol?

if you would have said, hey my truck is going to be down but i would still like to come out and have fun racing with you guys, I wouldnt have cared. to me, if your substituting a slower car, who cares. now if you ran all year with a 6 sec car and in the last 2 months you wanted to sub in a 4 second pro mod with tags, then i could understand that being fucked up

these races are sopposed to be for fun. get everyone together. have a good time. bust each others balls. that sort of shit

I'm just stating what the rules where. To me I don't give a shit either way. But I can see where some have a valid point. But I've had to miss two TDL months and possibly a third if parts don't come in on time. All I heard was tough shit your dropping down the list because people make a point to call you out knowing your not going to be there. So I'll keep dropping and when we come back we will call out the 8 spots in front like the rules say we can. No biggie.
