That really SUCKED......................nice Vette. He should have turned the key off to stop the fuel pump from pumping fuel. But sometimes under those situations it's hard to think clearly.................Insurance won't cover it either, that's what really sucks! :shock:...................I would freakin cry I think?

i put a V8 in a S10 once.

no exhaust, just HAD to hear it run

had dizzy in 180 out. fuel ran down block, and i had spilled some (okay...maybe a LOT)

back farted once twice,

then it shoot a flame out the exhaust port.

flames EVERYWHERE

apparently...the gas ran down under the truck, down the driveway, and along the curb.

so i had a big T of fire.

and i was spraying the gas under the truck with the water hose, which basically oxygenates the gas, and makes the flames come out the other side, and the flames were over the top of the bed.

my neighbor came over, with a fire ext about the size of a pint gatorade, and said "where do you want me to use this?"


it took a while to put out.
