I have a co-worker that needs a 4 door sedan, preferably an Accord or Camry. He's looking to spend ~5-7k . Hopefully we can find him a reliable car that won't be expensive to maintain and also would like to purchase something by Wednesday, 10/27.

Taurus.

Sean keeps 8-10 in his fleet. Dependable and cheap to maintain.

+1 on Snake's post. Tauruses are good, reliable cars. Why do you think they were the darlings of fleet companies? Just look around for a good example, as the values are pretty close for both good and poor operating cars. You may want to stay away from the smaller cars, though, as they all have problems that usually run big money to fix. For example, just about any 7-8 year old Focus can be purchased for a few grand, but will likely need $1000+ of a/c work. Eh, Hal?

more like 2k for the a/c fix. STAY AWAY FROM FOCUS!
Remember we had 1k just in compressor, and everything under the hood. Lasted alittle git and than it was evaporator under the dash. That was another 1k that we decided not to sink into the car and got her the truck she had
