A supercharger was added because well why not. Although not mentioned in the article I would have to assume he converted it to a RWD since this Mini came FWD and there seems to be absolutely no more room up front."

I was just wondering the other day if you could stuff a v8 in a mini. Welp, sure can. I also wonder if you can put one in a festiva, geo metro or even a smart car and make it RWD and still have room in it for 2 people. Hmmm

saw a festiva at the bracket finals a couple years ago big block for and stock wheel base. wheelie bars as long as the car.thought i had seen it all, but a mini with a hemi??

FUCKING AWESOME! A few years ago I bought an 01 Escort ZX2 for a commuter weapon when I lived in Houston. Needed something small, good on gas..it handled like it was on rails and was actually pretty peppy for a small ride. Lots of fun to drive. Since that car I have SOOOOOOOO wanted to build one with a TT SBF. I just think it would be completely bad ass and not something you see every day.

But you know a stock mini could outrun it, that thing would spin as fast as you wanted to go, but defenately an attention getter. Went to Fun Ford in Bristol Tenn. 3 or 4 years ago and they had a 2 door Focus with Ford small block, rear drive, stick shift, and turbos in the fog light holes. Cant remember the company name but there is one that makes kits to convert a focus to small block..:bigthumb:
