A few of you are familiar with this truck and Ronnie is actually a member here also.

Putting my truck up for sale. I have been too busy with work and have had no time to continue working on it. Put down 831 horses on the dyno. Right now as it sits with its break in tune, 700 horses and truck is more than capable of making it into the 9s. Price is 20,000 USD and this non-negotiable. For 1000 USD more you get the WMS rack and pinion set up with upper control arms, slicks mounted on Bogarts, and a fuel cell that was going in the truck. Block is an aluminum Ford GT block with Darton Wet Sleeves. Cams are L&M spec'd and are the same ones that JJ had in the Thunderstruck truck. Read the signature for the rest of the mods. I am not traveling or meeting anyone half way. You have to come pick it up. PM me if interested and serious buyers only.

Thank you in advance.

EDIT: SPEC's on the Truck:
3.4 Whipple Charger with WMS intake and big bore throttle body

Does it have a NHRA certified 9 second cage or just a regular 6 point?

I don't want to set up as a member on either site, but from the pics it looks like a normal 4 or 6 point. I might be interested if it had a certified 9 second cage, but it would need a halo and front bars and it dont appear to have that..:bigthumb:

I seriously doubt it a 9 sec certed cage. Probably just a 6 point.

Kind of what I thought. 6 point is only good for 10 seconds flat, 4 point is good to 11.50 seconds.

Pretty sure its a 6pt Daryl, can't say I've seen many if any that have had the dash hacked up for a halo and thats literally what it would take.

It is a Nice truck though with some expensive parts, I even considered buying it when I first seen it up for sale and changing some things.(actually I'm looking for a 4 door car)

I don't like the blower, I dont like the cams.

Like Randy said if your lucky to see a cage in a L its usually only 6 point because the owners dont want to hack the dash. Hell Ive seen 8 second 1/4 mile L's with no cage. :hysterical:

I want to get out of True Street, and run in some type of points class at NMRA. I could get into Tough Truck with it, but would have to slow it down, cause it would be teched. I won the Tough Truck race in Reynolds Georgia in Corrigans old truck when it was on the stock blower. Just looking around right now. Tough Truck, Modular Muscle, or maybe open Comp...:bigthumb:
