like someone said above its bad for the turbo but this is how it works.
when u make alot of boost an just lift instantly ... it makes all the air that is going into the throttle body hit the throttle blade now because it is shut so the air travels backwards an makes that sound.
On these cars at the end of a pass or wot your supose to ease out of the throttle an not slam the throttle blades closed like that.

Interesting, so basically it's compressor surge, which will destroy your turbo. Why don't you run a BOV?

Im in that same boat with Dorchester on Sundays. I have to be at work at 5am, and I didnt leave until 130.
