I was out tuning my car and took a video of the launch control. I didn't launch it because I went to the track a couple of weeks ago and the clutch slipped when I launched a 5 pounds of boost. I have an exedy twin disk sitting in my room, but I haven't installed it since it doesn't slip during normal driving.

I use a program to track changes in tuning. Some evo members have developed this program and it is pretty much spot on to a dynojet. When the stock clutch starts slipping more, I'll install the twin and go to the drag strip. This evo is making 390awhp on 93 octane. On my previous evo, I went 11s in the quarter with 400whp.

Nice, I have love the little bit of boost from just two stepping the launch. I have turned on my anti-lag and staged up but never launched because letting my clutch out with 20psi built just seems like a bad day for all things drive train related.
Put that clutch in and lets go have fun.

Sweet!
The only personal experience I have with all wheel drive and turbo was a dodge stealth (3000gt). I had one when I was 20yrs old. It was heavy and stock, but even that was still a fun car.
I'm sure your car with that much power and much lighter is a blaaaaast.

Nice. Lisa's cobalt has one from factory, but it's pretty much useless. I used it once and the tire hop was so bad that I thought the front end was going to come apart. I am sure it would annihilate the clutch now that it's been tuned.
I want a ride in it when you get the clutch installed. AWD launches are so fun.

Very nice Van, that car is a blast even with the stock clutch, the NLTS is badass too!

Oh yeah I forgot. We didn't celebrate those days growing up. I have a better jack now.

If you guys preload your drivetrain it will save alot of parts. I come out of the hole around 15psi.

If I retard the timing, I can build more boost. I preload the drivetrain using the e-brake method as you mention.

I do preload my drive train. The one time I was a retard and over shot the line and backed up right to it I destroyed a drive shaft, lesson learned. But even still I'm worried about how much more it can take. I figure on my car the next thing to go will be the stock rear diff cover.
