Just proves that "66" doesn't tell the whole story on a turbo. |
i forgot to mention it will outrun the gtr from a roll. lol
fuel issues were showing up after driving for a bit and then making a pass at the track. each pass would typically get worse. a/f would go to 17, and pressure would fall off by 5-10psi up top. did the same thing with his 340 pump. turbo is a somewhat worn out pt6766. (in the vid below he mentions the car smoking) to me it sounds like its lighting up around 3k-3500? i dunno... its a sweet car. looks bone stock. has catback exhaust with electric cutout. here is another vid with more dyno time. might want to skip to around 1:45ish. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/lbLAOkz9yfk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
I would suspect either a Pump wiring issue (resistance due to heat), or a tank venting issue.
|
hes done 75 different tests ruling out each and every possible problem, yet its still a stock fuel system at 530+ rwhp and the problem remains. instead of doing all those tests, i would have put a nice fuel system in there. i think he was just tired of the car and didnt want to spend the money on it. had a gtr in his head.
