sorry for not being technical....maybe shitty was harsh. All most people do on here is talk/type crap to each other about how slow or blah blah blah, or blah, but my point is that there are never races in the end of all the trash talk.

KRYPTONITE 05-05-2008 02:20 PM

Trust me SLOW04 you got that race!!!!!

Thats my point, it's hard enough to get a race together without having listen to all the other crap.............

:yourock: Now when are you ready? This weekend? Lets do it!

slowgreen99 05-05-2008 02:33 PM

Well, I want a run with another 4.6, but there arent too many on here that post. I posted before for any others to see if they wanted to run, but got nothing. I know of some cobras on here, but they would have to give a lil......I might have to upgrade to a 5.4 to get a race

So the car that I drove everyday for the last month isn't a street car because I changed my tires at the strip? What if I drove up there on DOT approved slicks? Or if I put it on a trailer with street tires on?

I'm just trying to figure this all out. In this thread I've learned a lot. Or....been confused a lot. So does it matter that I take my car on road trips? Florida, Maryland, and PA in the year or so. With AC and all other factory equipment. But it's no longer a street car because I run on slicks and will use a trailer if available?

This shit is all pretty stupid.

I'll be the first to admit that the term "street car" doesn't mean a whole hell of a lot in this state. After all....what does it take to get a car registered here? Pay your taxes on it. That's it. No inspections, emissions, etc. But...some of the rules brought up here are just stupid.

Jay do you drive a camaro w/ orange racing stripes? I may have seen you around but Im not sure if thats what you drive. I seem to remember you saying you have a camaro.

jay_99z 05-05-2008 05:00 PM

Nah. It's solid Hugger Orange.

I had issues with the truck's brakes so I put the Camaro back into daily driver duty. It got around 16mpg around town. Just got the truck back on the road so back to weekend duty/racecar status for it now.

Chris. Jay's car is Orange with white interior. No orange stripes.

I seen you the other day with the t tops off. I was turning onto 52 out of woodland lakes, and you were coming from moncks corner down 52.

I raced Wade & Jeff after a few quick posts.

I asked; they said yes. Jeff and I had to negotiate terms a little, but other than that we got the races out of the way quickly.
