how old are you? job status? student? only car?
a LS trade is the only logical answer, but it could take a long time if you hit a snag, and esp if you need a MBT of $$ to recover from the snag. if you are young, you will be looking to trade around soon, and i think a LSx swap will be better to sell than a SBC upgrade. FWIW, we put a Performer RPM intake on a 305 H.O. (back when Vanilla Ice was cool), and it was soft on bottom, but it rolled out on mid/top end for what it was. i say drive it as is, and just talk about it. once you take it off the road, and apart, you got problems. |

"There were a few surprised expressions when the 305 cranked 367 hp at 6,000 rpm on the first pull. With some fine-tuning of the air/fuel ratio via a jet change to the Speed Demon carb, power inched up to 372 hp at 6,100 rpm" Read more: http://www.popularhotrodding.com/eng...#ixzz1wsgr3700 |
