I forget what we use. It resides on jackstands so much i believe we just used the factory bottle jack and just leave it on jackstands

Ive been using the same 3 ton craftsman deal for ~14 years or so. Only jack I have ever owned. Dad bought it as a Christmas gift for me when I was in high school. No issues.

Rotary two post is what I use. Never had a problem getting under a vehicle without blocks.

I have been using a Michelin 3-1/2 ton 98lb jack for 10 years....It's height goes from 3-1/2"-22-1/2"........One or two pumps gets it up to my truck frame.....

Harborfreight and Advance Auto here.The Harborfreight is 3T and 7yrs old and Advance Auto is 2.5T and 12yrs old.Also get plenty of jack stands.I have 4 sets (8 total)2 sets 3T,1 set 5T and 6T.I feel I need more though.Hopefully a 9000 lbs or 10000 lbs 2 post lift in maybe a year or two :bigthumb:
