Nice to meet you! My name is Bryan and I forgot your name also. Track was horrible for us. Didn't have to worry about killin the transmission or breaking something because it was smoking the tires past the 60ft. On that same tune up it doesn't even spin in the street...Turned it down alittle but it hazed the tires to about 100ft out and still ran a decent number.

Nice sixty foot on street tires Wes! I think you could pull off a 11.99 if you keep at it.

Thanks Neal!

I think if I had let the car cool down like I did for my last run but nailed the launch better then I would have broke into the 11s. SO close but they closed the track early-ish due to not many participants.

I hope this new driveshaft without the rubber guibo at each end will help with wheel hop. I could just put a sticky tire on it and get rid of the hop, but drag tire equals racecar lol.

Lol damn wheel hop tried breaking my car at Dorchester. I'm glad it isn't a reoccurring problem for me.

GreebeanZ28 11-01-2012 01:34 PM

Already broke the diff in my GTO once and I've got springs/shocks/diff mount stuff to keep it from doing it.

Only place I've had wheel hop problems is Bowman.

I see the correlation here...1/8 mile tracks suck. Lol

Fine by me, I prefer 1/4 anyways. And would love a 1/2!

They do but surprisingly I've never had any wheel hop issues at Dorchester. Haven't taken my car to the 1/4 yet.

Once I put a solid driveshaft in mine wheel hop went away.

Some old dude walked up to me and said "Yall need to take that thing down to Dorchester and make some money". I lol'd

I was thinking on the way home. Once your car gets planted good enough for you to take one hand off the steering wheel, grab the bang button and see if the surging goes away. That will by pass your WOT switch and progressive.

I thought bout that to, but only thing the bang button Is wired into the progressive also so it would only by pass the wot switch, but it worth a try to see of it just a bad wot

One piece did nothing for wheelhop in my car. GForce's Anti-wheelhop halfshafts killed it tho.
