i'll be up there. Supposed to be a biggen grudge race between two cars. One of them supposedly runs low 4's.. we shall see. As for me, i'll try to run the 06 for a first time, might even bust out the DR's.

Jeez....I just dont see a "door car" runnin a low 4 out there.....buuuut, o well

badgt 07-11-2008 12:22 PM

yea i know. Its a bad car though, we shall see.. runs low 5s on motor. Thats what he told me, I couldnt care less wether it really does or not, because i'm not the one betting 5 grand that his cars faster then the other guys lol. I'm hoping mid 8's for my car, but who knows, its strong up top, just getting theres a PITA

I hear ya man, ill see ya out there

LXtasy 07-11-2008 04:34 PM

5k race for a 4 second car is weak money

WWhittle 07-11-2008 06:49 PM

they are nowhere near the 4's, i know exactly what one of them runs, and will be betting some of the pot. Someone told you a little lie.

LXtasy 07-11-2008 06:55 PM

If I had a 4second car I would not run for 5k. Maybe 20k+

slowgreen99 07-11-2008 08:04 PM

Im not sayin there is or isnt a 4 second door car, just not a low 4 second door car at dorchester.....A pro mod would prolly have trouble runnin a 4 out there, and as ghetto as most dorchester grudge cars are, I dont think theyd stop before counting the passengers on the amtrak (spelling)

Might finally get a good track night tonight!

LXtasy 07-13-2008 11:12 AM

I might go if I can get some hearing protection for my daughter. I can't wait to run crappy times on street tires and a posi. :woohoo:

Ill help ya paddle cuz im in the same boat....cept even with full slicks, my shits still slow....and I have a bunch of ear plugs if you need some

slowgreen99 07-13-2008 12:24 PM

cancel the ear plugs, sorry, thought we had a lot of em, definitely dont have any now

LXtasy 07-13-2008 08:33 PM

Well, I picked up ear protection(muffs) for my daughter but my starter took a shit at Dicks in summerville. Had to wait on truck and trailer and than hunt that pos down. Than on top of it. I had to make one of the holes larger due it wanting to hit the flywheel at an angle.
