I think he's saying he wants to go over 100mph, wants to know what slowgreen was talking about a clean pass, and then the last part is a quote from a movie anchorman
|
Thanks. So he wants to run the half mile? Then maybe he will see that 100.

I have always liked 1/4 mile action. Some cars that dominate over another in the 1/8 may see taillights in the 1/4. I like both. I prefer 1/4 mile as some vehicles perform better there.

I like 1/8th.
I get bored in the 1/4, Most of the time I start watching my flip out tv after 100' . Of course my truck is slow as balls, may be different in a fast car. |
in a 1/4 I'd get to watch the whole movie. otherwise in the 1/8th I have to make two pass's or I get lost and have to start the dvd over again.

I wasnt saying the TA cant make a good 1/8th pass, but he said 1/4 is where its at...so explain what was meant by that? Shit starts breaking after the 1/8th anyway. IMO, 1/8th is a drivers race, and 1/4 is a car race. And im not a car, so I like 1/8th. |
I'd like to run the 1/4 just to see what numbers I'd run. I like the 1/8 better for the reason you stated, it's much harder on the car.

Suggestion: Pave that return road..

I dont like watching 1/4mile cars race. It looks boring to me. I guess its because the cars are geared differently. Top Fuel and Funny Car racing is a different story. 8th mile cars are geared differently so there is alot more action (faster acceleration). Id rather see a Top fuel dragster and funny car run the 8th mile. |
So, any word on fixing the return road? Do we need to organize a bake sale or something?
|
yes i can used the dough

Since no one else is saying anything...
How long would it take to save up the money for a good return road if you increased admission by $5? I think that would make it the same as Dorchester. |
