So the mustang is small block, stock suspension on 275 drag radials? The Chevy II is on ET Streets (size?) what else?

I never said it was straight from the junk yard. I said it was found in the junk yard. I'm sure they took it by the car wash to hose it off, before they put it in the car.

Mine is from the junk yard too. I changed out a few parts though. Maybe I should hose it off. I never even thought of that.

Yes.

also I'm thinking it was weighed on a Cat Scale. Those things tend to be 100 - 200 lbs heavy. :hide:

1iron 02-06-2010 10:50 PM

My Mustang is 3700lbs. Because the track doesn't have a scale.

2fast4u2catch 02-06-2010 11:09 PM

you can get a nova pretty light that seems very high

2fast4u2catch 02-06-2010 11:10 PM

id still like to do something nova against nova how big of a motor is in his?

Whaler 02-07-2010 08:46 AM

The car is all metal except for hood, real glass, no lexan. Tube chassis car.
The car has a full interior - power windows, back seat, and stereo. The truck lid alone must weigh 80 lbs because of the board & tweed upholstery under it. The sides and bottom of the trunk are also wood covered with tweed, along with stereo amps and crossover. It's a tagged and insured street legal car.

2fast4u2catch 02-10-2010 09:38 AM

if its a full tube car then it should be really light tweed and wood dont add 80 lbs the car is proably around 3000 with him in it

You haven't seen the car. The car is a VERY FAST showcar. The car can cut ass at the track and then go and win some trophys on the show fields also. That car is not a gutted tube chassis race car.

Are you willing to make a wager on that? This is not a gutted race car. Wanna try $500 or more that I'm closer on weight than you are?

bwelch 02-10-2010 01:51 PM

Are you going to weigh it on a certified scale? :hide:

Only lightnings read right. All others are WRONG.
