Ok so I read the rules and am confused as hell. So I'll just race whoever calls me out I suupose :)

However, I will not be doing a lot of runs, I'm on the stock clutch and don't really want to replace it any time soon.

You can call out any spot up to 4 places above you on the list. Whoever is in that spot when it's your turn for your call out is who you will race. (We call out spots on the list, not necessarily particular people because the list positions often changes multiple times a night).

Well... I thought I had it figured out but now I think I'm confused too

This was how I thought it went:
If I race you and lose, you stay at #13, and I stay at #16, and Matt will race you next. If I win, I get #13, you go to #14, then Matt will race me.

Say you call out spot #10. When it's your turn for your call out run (since we go in order on who called out what spot in this thread), you will race whoever is in spot #10 at that point.

If whoever is in spot #10 isn't in attendance, you must race the next spot lower than #10 who has someone in attendance to get it (ie: #11 if whoever is in that spot is there).

Someone correct me if I'm totally off. The whole attendance and default win thing is throwing me off in the rules. :hide:

Waiting on my new rear end. If I can't get it installed in time for the 17th.. I wont be making the trip. :(

Carlrx7 04-01-2011 05:17 PM

calling out spot 4

How strict is the track on tech inspection. My car is all good to go but my fire jacket is still in CA. Back home tracks would get crazy about running a larger turbo without a fire jacket on.

There is no tech. Just bring a helmet for 7's.

BAD BOB 04-02-2011 10:29 PM

or 6s or 5s. helmet is all you need to go as fast as you want

So if I've already been called out, is there any point in me calling somebody else out? How does that work?

Technically your "spot" has been called out, the person in a particular spot may change every run depending on the results of each race.

You get to make a call out of your own for whatever spot you want 1, 2, 3, or 4 places above where you're at now. :bigthumb:

ForceFed4g63 04-12-2011 10:31 AM

I think I'm gonna have to back out of this one. I've been at the track the past 2 weekends and I have a feeling my clutch is starting to go out. I don't have the fundage to replace it right now so I won't be able to make it this weekend :( If I had another dd by now it would be a different story.

ASkipper 04-16-2011 04:33 PM

What time is everyone going tomorrow?
What is the address to the track as I will be following the GPS?
What's the callout list look like?

Matts94Z28 04-16-2011 04:45 PM

I will not be able to make it as of now. Unless someone wants to write an essay on "How do endosymbionts become organells and understanding early events in plastid evolution."
