Consider this a challenge lol. I'm already signed up and looking forward to running this. This will be my third marathon. Training is kicking my ass in this heat, but it will pay off race day. Hoping this time around to qualify for the Boston Marathon. It sucks that they made it tougher to qualify by knocking it down by another 5 minutes. |

I did 1500 meters (1600 is one mile) this morning in 4 minutes 11 seconds.
BUUUUT it was set up as: Sprint 150 meters, rest 60 seconds X 10. So my running time was only 4:11... but I took 10 breaks throughout making the actual total 14:11. lol |

Joe, don't set yourself up again...

Just got a Garmin 305 for my birthday to keep track of my running data and heart rate. I run 1.5 miles in high 11's but am hoping to get it down in the low 11's before the year's end.
I really like running but I don't really enjoy going past 3-4 miles. Any farther than that, and my mind begins wandering too much and starts to give my body convincing reasons to stop running. Once I start thinking about slowing to a walk during the run...it's only a matter of time before my body follows. :poke: |

I used to use Run Keeper on the Iphone. Check it out. It was more helpful than Nike+ when I tried it.
I use the Timex Global Trainer GPS now. Keeping track of pace and distance does help push yourself. |
10:48 last night. I'm taking a break tonight and slowing it down this week. I'm going for 9s next week.
