So I installed these BLUE 420 Lumen bulbs into my fog lights yesterday. So when I left around 2PM I got pulled over 5 miles to work and almost went to jail for impersonating a cop. Ended up with a 240 ticket and court summons. I didn't realize they were ILLEGAL BLUE.

Link no work, but yeah, blue is definitely a no-go. I'd say fix it, take pictures, and they'll probably drop it.

anything that isnt white or amber on the front or red or amber on the rear is illegal... any other color is also complete and total ricer shit.

the bmw blue is chromatic aberration from the cheapo glass lens they use that doesnt have any sort of aspherical correction.

yup. HID's dont output broad spectrum light you have to cover the spectrum with multiple color bulbs. and to everyone on here its ricer shit too. mine were LED's tho.

i've noticed the f150's/diesels with the blue headlights... do they come from the factory with those?

All of my vehicle have 5k HID's besides my tbss just because I haven't done it yet. They help me see better at night. I also have too dark of windows so the headlights help lol

Mine were LEDs also. Was looking for a little more light. Retarded to get HID headlights and Halogen fogs. Wanted the 420 lumen whites but they were sold out. Went with the blue thinking it would just have a blue tint but nope. Got them exchanged for free today.

so put HID's in the foglights as well... i've bought as low as 25w ballasts to run HID foglights without melting the housing.
