ITT: People who discus cars they will not own, but still talk shit as if they can buy them right now and as if it matters. Lambo's suck, they only have 2 doors and I could spend 1/4th the cost for a drag car that would whoop any lambo's ass at the 1/4 mile track, yo~
Both are great cars for the money, both companies have stepped their game up. Both are very competitive cars. Has anyone reviewed the Ford GT vs ZR1 yet? Daryl, as for your comment. Does not truly matter that Ford did not take a bail out, if they did not sell their logo, among other things, they would have been asking for a bail out. Also, GM has paid back all? Or most of the bailout money they were issued. Its your shitty as government that has not returned your tax dollars after that payment from GM was received that you should be talking about. edit: Well, so the ZR1 > GT?? herp derp this means the ZR1 is better than the GT!!!! <iframe width="853" height="480" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/arg5uHKja-s" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
The govt is out 16 billion on the auto bailout.

Some of us can afford the new zl1 or gt500. Actually a bunch of people here i am sure can afford it if they wanted to. It is just a matter of actually wanting to pay that much for a car payment.

Just saying....not even trying to sound rude. edit: Both cars are about my years pay. I would buy neither.....because their capabilities could never be reached on public roads. My opinion is if you cant take it to the limit on the streets.....no real point in owning. And yes I recall our conversation about your disdain for street racing. Not even speaking of just that.....just in general for sprinted runs or taking a turn at much higher speeds. |

Yes, GM did paid back its debt to the tax payers in FULL in February of this year. It was done in cash and stock options as agreed upon by the Government. Just a couple of years after the company's collapse into bankruptcy, GM's full-year income of $7.6 billion was remarkable. That is GM North America and GM International Operations, combined of course. So it appears that there have been lessons learned and changes made because it only took 2years to pay back the 50-Billion they borrowed from the taxpayers. |
Brah, it is a personal reason why i do not like high car payments. Has nothing to do with affording it. At this point in my life i rather have money going into savings instead of car payments. I actually hate my $200 a month truck payment lol. But what do I know, my wife is the one that has nicer vehicles then me lol
