I agree wholeheartedly. I just got off the phone with Justin, and getting his side of things, (and not taking sides, by any means) We were trying to promote this event, Dorchester, AND CHP. We are investing time, and money into this event. We wanted to include you for alot of obvious reasons. #1 is respect. We are coming into your playground (Dorchester) and wanted to give you a heads up, and not just show up, and have you asking,"WO ARE THESE CLOWNS??? I guess all of us moderators should have got together and talked about this before posting this up.

So, as I see it, can we squash this, put it to bed, whatever, and start over? I'm a moderator for SC gearheads, any or all moderators that are on this site, please contact me. and go over this. If we can get this up and running, lets do it, if not, thats o.K. too, no hard feelings.

I think the major problem most people have is the whole hacking thing. That's cowardly and just plain lame. That's certainly not going to make anybody want to join your forum.

Now that we hopefully put this all behind us, the reason we have this "wall" up, is because of the spam, bots, and alot of junk. We want real, ACTIVE members on our site, not just lurkers, and luke warm members. We are trying to be a respectable group. I know that CHP loves trashtalking, and thats awesome. I love it once in a while too. We are open to all types of cars, trucks, boats, motorcycles, etc. We've been around less than a year, so we are very small. The thing that I want personally, is to be able to come together with other local groups, and have big events; host charity events, cookouts, shows, whatever. Represent our little corner of the world ( the southeast) I came from the northeast, and thats what they like to do up there, so I may be a little different.
Now, as far as Cory, I will talk to him, he happens to be a great friend of mine (bash me if you want, I got thick skin) and I'll get things smooth with him too. Please dont bash his work, he does this for a living, and he too, invests alot of time, money and effort in what he does. He bought all of his equipment himself, and does what he can, with what he has. No one is perfect, not even me.

I just have a problem with your videographer. I don't know what it is, but he is like the 3rd camera geek that thinks his pics/vids are unique and gets offended when others state otherwise. Don't have a real serious prob with SC gearheads, other than the redirecting/registration bit and the smarty-art camera chimp that needs his comeuppance.


This "Corey" needs to come say "hi" or not bother recording the races at Dorchestor. Davey does a damn good job of capturing ALL of the action at the track in HD without all of the gizmos.

I just talked to Cory, and he wants to make things right, He didnt realize that doing this whole video thing would create an uproar. We had a serious talk about this, and we are on the same page. He would, as well as I would like to meet up with some of you, and get to know each other face to face, no internet gangsta stuff. be real, and know us personally. Maybe talk trash after we know each other. This is genuine. If we can put our ego away to do this, I think this will move both forums forward. Every event we try to hold will be to promote, meaning each forum, and the location, in this case, Dorchester/ the south east. We meant no harm, no foul, or anything of that nature. We were going to invite other (national) forums, like in my case, Turboford, Merkursport. IMON, Foureyedpride, and a bunch of other forums. Its to get us local furums more exposure.

The one thing I DONT want to do is tread on your feet, so I need good input from CHP. Thanks in advance for any help.
