If the only rule is regular street tires and drive in, I might be able to do that. On y2k vette wheels even. As long as track is prepped decent I believe I can make it down it. 500 would be nice.

Do Nitto NT05 tires (not NT05R's) qualify as a "street tire"? They arent specified as a drag radial by Nitto. Just asking.

I say just check them for a/c that is the true test. Aint nobody dd something with no ac around here in the summer unless its a pos beater or a race car

^^^ True, but they are a lot better than the Goodyear F1 Supercar Tires and a little more safe in a rain storm at 70mph than any of the "drag radials".
