Dont get all bent out of shape big guy I was :joke:. As far as having a boat been there done that. Bought a 17cc Seafox new in 2002. I grew up on the water so I thought it would be great. Honestly, I found it neither fun nor relaxing. Between having to take care of loading the boat in the morning and unloading the boat in the afternoon (when you have a wife and a 1 year old you take everything but the kitchen sink) then scrubbing and washing the salt water off the boat and aluminum drive on trailer I found it to be more work than anything. Combine that with seemingly having to tow someone back to the hill every other time I went out or being harassed by the DNR every other time, topped off by the fact that every tom dick and harry with a credit score over 600 has a boat these days (who have no business behind the wheel of a boat) I really didnt find it all that much fun at all honestly. But to each his own I guess.

Oh and dont get me started on the rules of the road (river) and boat landing etiquette. SMH.

Yea i havent had any of those bad experiences. I also havent been in the saltwater yet so i havent got to scrub that off. Idk i guess i enjoy it because its something new and enjoyable at the moment. I just keep catching myself looking at performance stuff for it but i know i dont need to do that. I need to leave it be.

first time i had mine in the river my buddy boug dropped me off at the dock to go get the truck and a guy almost backed into my boat with his trailer while doug was trying to get out the way. People dont care about other people only themselves
