He has seen the two threads though. Trucks been sitting for awhile they threw in the trans on friday, he just wanted to see what it could do.

? I've raced it at bowman once, dorchester twice, and SGMP once in the last 2 months.......... You can hardly call that retired.

I have been busy so i can't have it out there every weekend like I used to, I'll still bet 20$ that my truck has made more track passes than any other lightning on this site.

Mike sold his truck a while ago, but would probably still hold the record. That truck used to never miss a weekend. He also used to send it to races out of town w/ Buckner on a regular basis.

No wonder they both had the motor out more than most of the others. They run em hard.

Hey, i've only had mine out ... Ok whatever i aint gonna tell no lies.

Chris, i saved every slip but 2 or 3 that ive lost somewhere at the track or at the house, so I can almost give you an exact number, I think you'd have a hard time coming close.

I can't believe the transmission is still holding togather, I baught the truck with 30,000 miles bone stock and it has over 90,000 on it now with at least 20-30,000 of that on the track or to the track, other than 3 trips to Jax Fla its never been out of the state under its own power.

Ive thrown all mine away but weve been racing together for about 4-5 years I doubt there is that much difference.

My truck doesn't count because its not on the site anymore.

but

I had almost 1000 before Randy even started racing his truck. Hell Darryl Buckner used to borrow it for bracket races back in 03-05 when his cars were down. I had my truck almost 4 years before most these guys started racing theirs, that was a good head start.

I knew that, thats why I put it in my post "on this site". There's no doubt yours had a ton of passes, I was at the track with you on alot of them. I bought mine in 05, I took it to cooper river with a paper tag on it a week later.

3 weeks before I bought my truck and one of the reason's I bought a black one was because I was at NAPA changing plugs on my boat and you pulled up to the 110 pump at the pride with slicks on. I remember thinking "boat+truck+slicks= Novel idea" two - three weeks later I bought one.

Ran my first track pass in my truck in 2005. Only ran 11s then. Took me 7 years from the time I bought it to get it to run 9s. But I finally did it last October. Bet I don't have 100 passes on it.

Oh, you meant nines in the eigth. My mistake.
