Another 6.5 miles tonight. No time, but the cooler air sure felt nice!

Props for training for the 26.2. I dont have that kind of time to be running those lengths. Halfs and tough mudders will be the extent of my races.

Moved from racing section since this has turned into a dick bump about fitness.:hysterical:

Lets see, you ran a 14 minute mile. I almost lapped you. If i had lapped you at exactly my two mile mark and your 1 mile mark that would be 7 minutes. So yeah, by my math thats in the 8 range.

And considering my second mile was slower than my first mile. Quit being a queer.

I'm not the fastest but I was happy with the cool weather today. The thing I'm impressed with was the peak pace was the last 0.18 miles racing my friend to the finish. I use a program called endomondo on my android phone to track runs.

^ looks like you run about the same pace as me... whats your typical pfa run? i'll be spending the next 2 weeks focusing on the 1.5 mile run and getting my time down before my pfa on the 4th... lots of interval running and practice runs lol... the push ups and curl ups arent an issue as i usually max out on those with outstandings

SOADweskey 09-16-2011 11:01 PM

My last pfa I was lazy since I'm 30 and can take all day so I ran a 13:06. Last year I ran a 10:40 not being lazy. I'm hoping to get back to that. I've been running every day around 1100 with one of my friends, if you aren't busy you can join us.

yota 09-17-2011 09:09 AM

i'm never busy at 1100 lol... i'll come out and run, where you yall meet?

SOADweskey 09-17-2011 11:49 AM

Either at my place or my friends. We both live near the Northwoods mall. Give me a call or pm me your number and I will let you know when we get out of our QA training. Usually between 1030 and 1100.

chrisheltra 09-20-2011 05:14 PM

I was suffering from sore calf's before my run so I decided to slow it down an go farther/longer.

i embarrassed myself today lol... stupid calf cramped up hardcore, like wouldn't move at all cramped, when i turned around at the halfway point... with the limping and stretching to get it unlocked i did 1.5 in 14:45... almost a full 3 minutes off of my "normal" time :(
