Again we are goin with a stock setup against a stock supercharger setup. Oh well it happens. So yes I will say that stock for stock they are faster.

That's what they came with from the factory, why exclude them? I know the LSX boys like to cry wolf because it was the end of the era where they dominated

I am curious why ford is going back to the 5.0? Tired of getting their ass whipped.

LOL touche. They went back to the 5.0, but the displacement is about the only similarity it shares. It's a completely different motor.

It's a 4v motor somewhat similar to what's in the 03-04 Cobra's. But without the blower, an aluminum block, higher CR, and weaker internals. It has a solid axle instead of the IRS, 5mt instead of 6mt so its weighs a couple hundred pounds less.

Mach1 manuals had a forged crank while the autos had a cast. all came with 3.55 rear gears and limited slip diff. along with 4 wheel disc brakes. the heads are 4v aluminum heads with cams borrowed from the Navigator. compression is 10.1:1. The intake was aluminum also an similar to the 99-01 Cobra's and came with an aluminum block. All Mach1's came with a functional shaker hood scoop, model specific wheels and interior seating. the gauge package and shifter area was designed/borrowed from the 01 Bullet. Braking was through dual piston brakes, there is more.

305hp @ 6000rpms and 320ft lbs of tq @ 4250

And the Mach1's out performed the 99-01 Cobras at the track every day. If i still had my 04 I'd say let's line them up and see. hate to dyno race but stock mach's dyno'd higher in tq and hp than the cobra's but ford under rated the mach so not to piss in the cobra owners cheerios. :)

that certificate is only good for 1 point at a mca car show. other than that if you combine it with a dollar you can possibly get a cup of coffee or have enough money to tip a stripper. :)
