Whos going?

Im going up Thursday evening to Darlington to hit up drag night and looking into getting a room in MB for the rest of the week.

were gonna go. my stepdad and mom are coming down in the Roush and have a condo for the week (thanks inlaws!) were gonna do the meet and great on tues, the track nights wed and thur. that may be all the events we do since my parents want to do other stuff with my daughters.

I think im gonna do the same, but I want o stay on the strip this time so I can watch all the cruises.

Its a few miles from the mall and Eric is staying a few miles up the road in the other direction.

They want more than I want to spend to stay on the strip.

Ya thats too far away, I can get one on the strip and near the pier for 89$ a night and be near everything. I just stayed there this weekend at the sandcastle resort and even had a kitchenette in it with a stove full fridge and sink and 2 queen beds Oceanside for 70$

I stayed at that mariott last year, it would have been great if I was a granny.

My MIL wanted to go on a trip to MB a few years ago. So she booked us rooms at some cheap ass ocean front hotel too. I walked in that room and it wreaked of cigarette smoke, cat piss and pregnant teenagers so I immediately walked down to the lobby and got a refund for all of us (3 rooms total) and took my happy ass to a hotel down the street which was much nicer.

Cheap hotels in MB are some of the nastiest Ive ever seen but have fun and give me a shout.

Google sandcastle resort it has a waterpark in it, its far from Roach motel and nicer than that mariott

I know Ive stayed there before back in high school after prom. You should have seen the things we did in that room. :hysterical:

IIRC I almost got arrested in the parking lot.

Edit: I just checked their site for availability for shit and giggles and the cheapest room I could find for that time frame was $200/night.

I was just there this weekend, got drunk on the pier restaraunt and the tiki bar that you swim up to.

I love that place, even though this weekend was full of scooter bums for bike week it wasn't bad.

I get discounts there because I stay there alot.

I'm planning on going to Darlington that Thursday for sure, and I live about 45 min from the beach so I'll more than likely be up there for the other stuff to

lol i remember the "hotel" that we went in on with Jr and jerry and i dont remember who else was there. we were led to believe it was a nice hotel. needless to say we left MB that night. that place was disgusting especially considering the money per person we were paying.

Regardless of who stays were I'm looking forward to heading up and kicking some ass again Thursday night.

I am going Tuesday for the little meet and greet. Then likely again Friday and Saturday. Maybe to the track day but only to watch the CHP locals whoop some ass.

have to see when my flight to Afghanistan is before I can make plans, I normally stay at the Barefoot yacht club 2700sqft condo for right at $2k, I used to stay ocean front but got tired of the high prices,traffic etc, though I did enjoy staying at Holiday Sands South since there was basically a mustang show in the parking lot everyday

yea that place was a damn dump! i remember chris, i just remember how pissed jerry was when i was like were not staying here. then we had that shitty dinner at bonefish grill i think it was. ahhh good times!

i think the sandcastle resort is where brandi and i stayed at for our honeymoon.

Only thing better than that is if you got your truck done by then.

compare what you pay for a tiny room for the week on the ocean front to having 4 real bedrooms to split between friends and a full kitchen so you can have real meals and not pay to eat at restaurants each night. It comes out to the good for my wallet

Ill be up there tues-saturday in some hotel on the strip. We need to have a chp night where we get some food or something up there.
