HHP Carolina/LMCC Open Drag Day
 

HHP Carolina in conjuction with Lowcountry Muscle Car Club have set up a open track day, June 30th with the fine folks at Bowman Dragway. We are going to meet at the Walmart on 17-A in Summerville at 3 and cruise to the track. We will have the track from 5 until 9. Car and driver entry is $25.00 and spectators are $5.00. You can run as many times as you want. Everyone is invited to attend.

Just a friendly reminder from the staff at Bowman: make sure everyone that plans on racing has a helmet. No one will be allowed to go down the track without one.

Shirt and shoes required ?

For you its a full fire suit, gloves, shoes and a hans device with that race car.

Shirts not required on the ladies.

I took it to rub it in my friends face who had to work all day in the heat. It applied in this thread as well.

I wasn't planning on going to bowman, but I was going to hit up SSS. Not so sure whether I will or not now. Think my fuel pump just said :finger: . I will have to see if it is still pissed at me when midnight comes. I knew better than to drive it in this heat. :owned2:

when you get back to work, set up a network monitor and check for MAC's doing ARP requests and hogging up all your bandwidth. that's where your loss of network speed is being choked down. 50% of our network loading is MAC's saying (in a barbie bimbo voice) "who are you? i'm a gay little MAC, whats your IP? who are you? geeee, don't you wish YOU were a gay MAC?"

yeah, the wife wanted to take a hot rod up there, i think we will take the SUV & cooler & a Easy-UP & a watermelon.

thinking of toting a little 4x8 trailer if anyone wants me to tote their slicks/jacks or spare parts.

What pump are you using? I have an extra Bosch Focus pump that Randy gave me. I run one in my car too. I don't mind paying it forward.

It plugs right in, just need to modify the bucket a little bit.
