I was thinking the same thing unless they have "Paulie" planning a funeral.

It's more a 'celebration of life'. (that's the term for it everyone's been using)

My grandpa passed away at the end of September '07, the memorial wasn't until November because it "inconvenienced" some family members to have it in Sept/early Oct :roll: He had been cremated though.

Umm, I thought the African-American community was the only ones to hold on to a dead body for that long. And as far as inconveniencing people that is funny, do they give out door prizes or something for people to HAVE to attend and not rescheduled what they were doing to attend?

The story I was told on why it took til Nov was that both my uncles were inconvenienced by the dates because it was still during racing season. Even though one of them only lived a few miles away from where it was anyway and the other wasn't even active in racing at the time (and only lived about an hour away)... who the hell knows my family is pretty high on the dysfunction scale and most of the time don't even talk to each other.
