|
If you really want a smart "phone" and aren't going to do anything crazy with it just get an iphone.
|
iPhone if it's your first......
|
i got a droid 4 for free from verizon after all the rebates, its a pretty good phone.
|
I havent used both so I cant compare them but I like my iphone. Inb4randycallsiphoneonwersilliteratedumbfucks.

IPHONE is good for a tenth
|
Never had an a iPhone but my droid x pisses me off on the regular. I wonder if iPhones have there own set of problems too tho.

 I have a HTC thunderbolt (android) that I love, though needs the battery replaced. If you're not gonna do all that much with it, the iphone is probably fine. |

Not sure how I lived before my IPhone...just sayn..lol.

If you suck with computers and stuff that can get completely fucked if you don't know wtf you are doing get the I phone.
If your more of an advanced user, get the android its a more powerful platform. |
i've had nothing but android phones for the past few years, my best friend has an Iphone.
mine freezes, crashes, gets thrown down, cussed at, and i hate it.... i have to shut it down for a few minutes everyday randomly just to get internet to work again. (this goes for all the android phones i've had except the original mytouch i had, probably 10 or so android phones now. his iphone never freezes, never crashes, he can watch youtube videos in my house, i cant even make a phone call in my house. oh i need to switch to verizon. |

If you want a slide out keyboard, Droid 4. If you are fine with only having a touch screen, Galaxy Nexus or S III.
I would stay away from apple products, they are too proprietary and many of their products are overpriced. It's a fashion phone. |

Droid commando. I fell off the jetski several times last week with it in my pocket, falls off the table, gets thrown, etc. No protective cases works like a champ. All ports are o ring sealed.
|
My droid razr maxx blows my old X out of the water. Battery life lasts about 2 days and thats using the phone constantly talk, text and internet. The X barly lasted 14 hrs. My 4G internet service is faster than my At&t dsl. I vote Droid.
|
I have Verizon and use a thunderbolt. Mine is awesome. Rarely ever reboot it and rarely ever have problems. I have heard of one girl I work with had the exact same phone and she complained about it, but I think it was all of the weird apps she was trying to run. My only problem is battery life in 4g but I toggle it over to 3g and get one or two days in between charges. On 4g you will get around four hours BTW. My sister and a bunch of relatives have the iphones. They complain sometimes but not that much I would say. I just haven't seen any reason to switch happy with my current and not interested in switching.
|
I haven't had any problems with my iphones. Put it in an otterbox, and it has been run over by dually Chevrolet, and went to bottom of pool and bottom of sink full of water, and has not hurt it yet.

I have had both and would pick the iphone all day every day. as a matter of fact, I like my iphone and ipad so much, and have had zero problems, that I now want to switch all my computers to mac. When I deal with an Apple product, I always wonder why other companies have such a problem getting it "right". Of course, that's just my opinion. I typed this from my windows based PC, which i had to reboot because the hour glass was spinning and the computer was froze! Should have used the iPad!

I love the sheeple tag lol. My how things have changed over the years...
I remember being made fun of forever because the only computers I had for 20 years were Apples, starting with the Apple II. |

i have NO clue how to mod my phone, and have better things to do than learn how (no offense) so why not go Iphone which needs no modding (much like buying a new corvette over a new 5.0 i'm just saying for the person that doesnt know how to hack/mod/fuckup an android phone doesnt the iphone make more sense, especially when iphones are pretty problem free out the box and androids are "buggy". just my experience and point of view, not attacking corvette owners, mustang owners, apple fans, android fans or phone hacks. |

And because you can find so many thing that you have to pay for on apple but yet free for android, sme people get download happy and screw themselves. Trust me theres no comparison like corvette and 5.0. androids have bigger screens twice the processing and video capability, twice the bandwith, twice the storge, twice the processors of any I phone out there. |

You also have hundreds of Droid manufacturers not all of them are worth a shit and that's the problem too There's only one manufacturer of I phones. |
Galaxy S III

my screen is cracked now and Tmobile just stopped doing the "free upgrades" so i will likely go to verizon and use an iphone. |

As soon as you remove the a/c its a race car. I have an Iphone and AT&T and I will continue to do so till the end of time or until I am no longer grandfathered into AT&T's unlimited data plan whichever comes first. |
Ive had droids and iPhones. Currently have the iPhone 4s and it's by far the best phone. If you want a good slim case for it get the life case. Kind of pricey but it's worth the money.

Enjoy 3g, my 4g is unlimited. I set mine up as a wifi hotspot when I go on long trips, my kids pick up the signal on their tablet PC,s and watch Netflix and play modern warfare ........... At the same time............And all while shutting the fuk up in the back seat...... Try that shit with an I phone. |

The same reason why 99% of buisnesses out there are running windows based PC's, and not mac's. |

I dont tether, I hit a button, assign a password to the connection so not everyone can get it (because trust me I had a car follow me for 100 miles using my connection) and tell my kids to find the wifi. |

If you want to compare a mac to a cheap dell, hp, compaq, emachines, etc, then yes, macs are a little better. But for less money than a mac, you can have a custom pc built that will be faster and more reliable. |
