silver L and Gray L
 

Someone thought it would be a good idea for a certain silver turbo lightning and a Gray one to square off Sunday at Dorchester. Word has it that Silver one is a BEAST....:hail: Anyone else heard about this???:poke:

I do not think he is looking to race. Just curious on the setup as it is different than your typical kb 2.4 built bottom end lightning

I'd say I got some vested "time" in both trucks, and IMHO he's not ready for that silver one yet.

I dont forsee threat to his #1 spot in the immediate future.

I don't want anyone mad at me either. Cinderblock is set up and runs pretty well, and once he gets that starting line hesitation dialed in look out, cause there is a ton of potential with a turbo.:razz:

I hope to be running with the big boys soon! Those passes were the first on the turbo set up. Tune was mild pump gas tune at 12* and boost was only 15-16lbs. Not only do I need to fix the 60ft but I am also pushing the limits of my current fuel system.

With confidence like that , will take back tire and the break. Since I am slow and all. You can shoot, I won't.

We like to "run what ya brung" :mrgreen: and hope that the super pig will be enough.

Me too, just giving ya a hard time. I am still a couple tenths off what I think you guys run, but I am working on it....Never really got mine into "race" trim. It will get there with a lil time....Truck has never really "worked". Hopefully I can get the ET to match the mph I have run and finally get to pulley all the way up. I am sure the Silver is crazy strong with that big whippy...

It is decent. Needs more pulley, but we keep it safe with the spray. We believe we have a tenth or two left as well with some tinkering. Get your rig in shape and perhaps we can get them both at the track one day along with some of the other fast L's in the area.

Can I get a breakdown on the trucks being discussed? Who's is the fastest atm cause I'm lost?

Well the Slow04 truck is my dad's silver L and I am kinda the driver. Built mota with an obese whipple on it and a bit of juice to get the pig moving. It is heavy but may be the quickest L in the 1/8th as of right now. The DSG truck I believe is a built mota kenne bell truck? And the other silver L that the thread was actually intended for is a built mota turbo L that is getting the bugs worked out and will eventually be the king :hail:. Pretty sure they all run 6's which is kind of the norm these days.
