raced a 700hp renntech cl65 (another renntech car)
 

swung by the meet tonight, talked with a dude driving a brand new cl65 that was modded by renntech, said they dyno'ed it at 695 to the wheels. i asked for a dig and he said sure.


we ran out to a undisclosed "closed" track and lined up.


first run: we line up from a dig, he honks and i give him the jump but still pulled out 8+ cars and by the topish of third had at least 10+ and was kinda peddling...

second run: he asked for a low roll and i gave it to him, we line up from about 15-20 and he just took off and i went. from the 15-20 roll i yanked the front tire off the ground at least a foot... pulled the mercedes by about 10+ cars and shut down.


all in all it was good runs, and i was happy :D. oh and i have at least 6 witnesses that saw the wheelie haha.


shawn raced him and the mercedes only got him by a car, but shawn has a badddd exhaust leak.

If you have 28's they would turn 3550 at 80 mph. The formula is MPH X GR divided by TS X 336 =. And a phone? Please. I was at the drag strip. If I had known Paul was going to be there. I would have been there. When I posted there was no car scene. There wasnt.

HMMMMM....So you know paul's car better than him? That particular equation only gives you an appoximate rpm/mph. It fails to take into consideration transmission gearing and various other outside variables.

things break but i have a street car thus i treat it as such. i have a trailer waiting in case with someone willing to pick up the car. i'm not afraid of driving 2 hours to run the car and drive home in the rain.

Yes all 400's came from the factory with the same ratio's. and yes you can change 1st and 2nd but not 3rd. Your speedo or tach might be off. I dont know. And I got the formula out of a 1990 truckin mag. Your talking to the wrong person about ol school chevy stuff. And like I have already said. I only said I was still waiting. I'd like to thank you for your fantastic performance in this thread. A very good progression from stupid argument/name calling/talking down to people/wanting to fight. Funny thing about all of this is the fact you don't act this way in person. Kinda suprised considering the fact that i had a pretty enjoyable conversation with you at the track the other weekend.

My car is getting tuned as we speak. Originally I just wanted to run you for fun after I made a few shakedown runs at the track. But since a friendly race is ruined by your ego getting in the way of things, its not going to be free now. So again name you price if you want to race me, or admit you don't want to and i'll leave you alone about it.
