Cars from the 80's that are cooler than a MeerkuR
Quad 4 Cutlass
Probe Gt, the ones with the turbo motor Taurus SHO Spirit R/T Lumina Z34 '91ish model, close enough. Omni GLHS Daytona Eclipse/Laser/Talon <-sold as '90 model, but close enough fro my list damnit. Beretta GTZ/GTU Thunderbird Turbo Coupe VW GTI Ford Aerostar Van. You can get them with a 4.0/5 speed combo. Mclaren Pontiac Grand Prix Feel free to add you own lesser known but still more cool than a MeErKuR cars to the list. LOL. |
Go to Kelly blue book, choose any year in the 80's then go to any vehicle. That's the list.... Lol
:D |

Since its my list I'm going to give it a cut off time of Vanilla Ice. Early 90's is still period correct. Therefor I add the '92ish Nissan Maxima. Pretty much as quick as a SHO.
Also '91 sentra se-r. |

I used to have a 79 Buick Regal turbo, with a GN engine in it. (engine swap) Kept frying ECUs. I drove it a few times, and rebuilt the engine in high school, in auto tech class. Nothing ever came about on that. And the SVO has the exact same engine as the Merkur, just a different, more aggressive PE ECU, which I would like to have. I am running an upgraded LA3 in mine now, out of a Turbo Coupe. |
Was in Orlando last January at a dyno in a muffler shop while blacksnow's 8th gen civic was bein tuned. The owner of the shop had a starion with a viper motor in it. It was being finished up while we were there. Wonder if he ever got it going. Crazy sight swing all that motor in that little car.

I had a few RX-7s. Still wouldn't mind having an IMSA wide body 1st gen with a turbo'd 13B for a track car.
|
The 97 Probe GT wasn't a slouch and consumed large amounts of gas! My RX7 was a fun little car as well.
