This incredible 2-DAY event will be held on September 14th & 15th, 2013 at the Prestigious Heavens Landing Airport (www.heavenslanding.com) in Clayton, Ga. Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains this airport is more of a work of art then a place to land your plane.or in our case race your cars!! Come join us for 2 FULL DAYS of, side-by-side, HALF MILE racing at this rare and exclusive location. All of our participants will be given a chance to take their vehicles Top Speed down Heavens Landings private 5069 ft runway and race door-to-door against the competitor of their choice!! See what its finally like to race without the restrictions of speed limits, on what is basically your own private interstate in the mountains!! Drivers:

$195/ea (per day) in advance before April 19th, 2013, or $350 for a 2-Day Pass.

$225/ea (per day) in advance after April 19th, 2013, or $400 for a 2-Day Pass.

Spectators:

Any suggestions for a good camping spot for a trailer? Looking more for a party crowd than the family vacation setting.

I'm going to try and make this event to spectate. Hopefully, I'm around and can make it. It looks like a good time and a chance to see some really fast cars airing it out....

there will be numerous 200mph plus capable cars at this event

I'm planning on being there, but with me seeking new employment opportunities......I can't even say what state I will be living in in September.....such is life.

Not sure about a trailer, but the days inn last year was the party spot.

I might have to check the Days INN out, I just wanna be able to have a few beers and not get told to quiet down because quiet hours are from 2000-0800

We ended up renting a badass 4 bedroom house for less than the cost of a hotel. 2 nights was like 350 total.

I found it on vrbo.com. Just search for Clayton ga, there are a ton of cool rental houses a available for a decent price

I would be very very surprised if you can find pump e85 up there. e85 fuelfinder says the closest pump is 80miles away. Ill be running on either q16 or vpImport, not sure yet. I know VP will be there so they can probably hook you up with e85 if you dont want to bring it

you are more than welcome to stay with us man. Its just me and 2 or 3 others at this point and the house seems pretty cool

This is the part I hate about using E85

I'm not familiar with those other two fuels and willing to be I could not use them without recal'ing the tune. Looking forward to a great time up there regardless of bringing my car or not!!!

its looking like my tuner is going to have 2 fresh 55 gallon drums of e85 for the weekend so im sure we can work something out

edit: hes going to fill me a drum from him local pump. 3.09 a gallon and 82% ethanol. How much do you think you will need for the weekend?

yup. she will be done for a private dragstrip rental the wednesday before the event for some shakedown passes.

Im shooting for 195+ on the new build so hopefully i can pull it off. Car should be making right around 1200 at the wheels on e85

That's what I'm doing, just don't know if I'm gonna go Saturday or Sunday. I'd go both days but I've got too much stuff to get done around the house.

Yeah I was leaning towards Saturday.

With that kind of power, you should be right around that speed. I wouldn't be surprised to see 200. This event is a little smoother than carrabelle in my opinion with a much longer shut down area. The only issue is its a little higher in elevation. I'm hoping for 165 with "only" having 700hp.

I think my wife and I just decided to take the Tahoe instead. I definitely appreciate the offer.
